Dean Martin The Silencers

Not really the soundtrack of Dean Martin's first film as superspy Matt Helm, this is mainly an excuse to package a new collection of songs by Dean with a tie-in cover to take advantage of the film's success. And it WAS successful. To the point where it had not one but three sequels!

  1. Hey pallie, likes thanks so much for recognizin' what is probably our Dino's greatest acheivement of 1966...playin' Matt Helm in "The Silencers." As you mentioned it was a huge success and three more Helmer capers were filmed...my personal fav bein' numero duo, "Murders' Row." Never was, never will be anyone as cool as the King of Cool...oh, to return to the days when Dino walked the earth. Know your thoughts are bein' shared this very day at ilovedinomartin...

  2. Nancy Kovack was cute, and Daliah Lavi was hot. I usually like Stella Stevens, but her character in this movie was so ditzy she was annoying.
