I remember THE RAT PATROL as being quite popular in '66 but we never watched it. Must have been opposite one of my Dad's favorite shows. Lost f episodes to enjoy on YouTube these days, though.

Barbara Harris-The Apple Tree

On Broadway from October of '66 was THE APPLE TREE, directed by Mike Nichols and based on material by Mark Twain, Jules Feiffer and Frank R. Stockton. The wonderful Barbara Harris starred alongside Broadway vet (and later game show host) Larry Blyden and newcomer Alan Alda.
