The Best of Uncle Scrooge and Donald Duck

The great Carl Barks was still unknown when this collection came out in '66 proving that his stories were noteworthy even before his name got out.

  1. Before his name got out, Western/Gold Key received fan mail addressed to "the good artist" or "the good Duck artist."

I never thought of him as "THE good artists." There were a lot of good artists drawing comics back then. But Barks was definitely on the A list.
