Nancy Sinatra--These Boots Are Made For Walkin'-February, 1966



"Go-Go" was big in 1966 and this great color promo clip showcased Nancy Sinatra and her Go-Go girls in their Go-Go boots! The song was written especially for Nancy by music producer and sometime singer Lee Hazlewood and would become her one iconic hit, reaching # 1 on both the US and UK pop charts! Nancy and Lee would pair up in a Sonny and Cher style duo for more memorable songs over the next few years but nothing came close to "BOOTS."

    This was the first pop song I learned completely at the age of 5. I used to sing it standing on the hump of the wheel well in my grandparents' car.

    I also enjoyed her rendition of" The Last Of The Secret Agents " Have you ever heard the song??
