1966 was the year that the world changed from black and white to color. It was the year that most people realized that comic books were still being published. The year that folks started questioning whether rock ‘n’ roll was really just a fad or something more. Even for those of us without drugs, it was the year the world seemed to turn on. Yes there was political unrest and the War and the Civil Rights issues but hey, I was a kid! The music! The cars! The fashions! The toys! The books! The movies! The TV shows! It was a good time to be seven. 1966—My favorite year.
