Pistols and Petticoats
Former sweater girl Ann Sheridan starred in this enjoyable but ill-fated western comedy in '66, alongside the great Ruth McDevitt and Douglas V. Fowley. Sadly, she was already hiding cancer and died before the end of the first season, making it the show's only season. Former McHale's Navy co-star Gary Vinson is fun here as well, but he, too, met a sad end as a suicide a few years later, after being accused in a child molestation scandal.

Yogi Bear and the Three Stooges Meet the Mad, Mad, Dr. No-No
A wonderfully weird children's 1966 children's record teaming Hanna-Barbera's classic characters with the Stooges in a James Bond parody, complete with the REAL Stooges, Daws Butler's great cartoon voices and the familiar HB background music.

Happy New Year From Juliet Prowse
Well here we are again with another new year beginning...and whaddaya know? It's 1966 again! This time, though, we're exactly 50 years on! Lots of 50th anniversary celebrations coming up for all of the lasting pop culture goodness from '66. Sadly, MONA McCLUSKY didn't last...nor did Juliet Prowse who passed on far too young in 1996.
